Stout Metal WORKS

Making your own reality was not so hard to do for Sean Tuttle. He is one half of the artists/craftsmen that make up Stout Metal Works, a business specializing in one of a kind sculptures and home decor. Sean worked full-time for the "man" for 6 years before quitting to follow his dreams of living off creating his own WORK and doing... whatever the hell else he wants.

Though much of his work is commissioned, he still went against the grain of conformity, lifted his last foot off the ground and got his business license as an artist/craftsman/metal fabricator (and a successful one at that). His latest project is to construct trophies for a body boarding competition held on the Jersey Shore Labor Day weekend. Making trophies is nothing new to Sean, for he has already accomplished this task 3 times for the same association. The fact that they keep asking for his work shows satisfaction on both ends. He kills two birds with one stone. Loves making art. Loves body boarding.

Sean Tuttle is a prime example of those “who are not affected by the opinions and expectations placed upon them by the outside world.” (Juxtapoz magazine in an article on Ususgrow's "Shaganist" group show.
